She is survived by sons, Michael Zejda and Paul Zejda both of High Point; grandchild, Julie Zejda Riley ; and great grandchildren, Patrick Riley, Sean Riley, and Ian Riley. Howard Milton Harris, 86, of High Point, passed away Monday, December 12, 2022, at his home. Born June 13, 1936, in Whiteville, NC, he was a son of the late Chess Harris and the late Gertrude Hester Harris.

Paine discussed with Napoleon how best to invade England. In 1804, Paine returned to the subject, writing To the People of England on the Invasion of England advocating the idea. However, upon noting Napoleon's progress towards dictatorship, he condemned him as "the completest charlatan that ever existed". Paine remained in France until 1802, returning to the United States only at President Jefferson's invitation. Paine himself protested and claimed that he was a citizen of the U.S., which was an ally of Revolutionary France, rather than of Great Britain, which was by that time at war with France. However, Gouverneur Morris, the American minister to France, did not press his claim, and Paine later wrote that Morris had connived at his imprisonment.

Fascinated with aeronautics and aviation his entire life, he attended the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics. Because he did not suffer from painful bone spurs and was neither a loser nor a sucker, Mark served as a mechanic and instructor in the United States Air Force upon being drafted in 1970. He was honorably discharged as Staff Sergeant in 1974. He began his career as an aircraft mechanic at Butler Graham Airport, then proudly worked as lead mechanic with USAirways from 1981 until his retirement in 2004.
Her legacy will live on through her family and friends. Services will be private due to the COVID 19 pandemic. There will be a celebration of Denise’s life later this year. Arrangements with George A. Thoma Funeral Home, Inc., Wexford.
He was born December 14, 1937 at Latrobe Hospital, a son of the late Romaine and Emily Smith Johnson. John was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather. John was a member of Heritage United Methodist Church where he had served on various committees and attended studies to learn and enhance his faith.
